About Us

Who we are:   We are a group of Air Force retirees or the spouses of retirees (some of us fit both categories) who formed a relationship/friendship while working at the Randolph Air Force Base Thrift Shop, a consignment shop that raises money to support various charitable endeavors.  Bess was a key worker at the Thrift Shop and board member of the officers wives club which oversaw the shop.  One of our key players was the manager of the shop and another was the chairman of the shop.  One might ask how that translates to a successful estate sale.  It does because in their capacity at the shop they saw treasures from the “four corners of the globe” and developed a keen sense of the value of a given item (treasure).  Our ladies have seen it all and can put a fair price on every item in a client’s house.  The men in the group are along for comic relief and to lift and tote and price the tools.  An additional advantage is Bess, our name-sake, is a licensed (and very experienced) antique appraiser.
